BISHOP DRESS CONSTRUCTION CLASS - Special Class Offered in 2 Sessions

A great follow-up class to the Beginning Smocking.

Construct a ready to smock bishop in two 4 hour day sessions! Your bishop will be a button down the back design, but Sandra will give a demonstration on making a foolproof placket. Your dress will be finished with a tuck at the hem.

Other things taught that day include: learning to pleat, block a bishop, attach the neckband, and a unique way of making French seams. You will also be attaching a bias band to beautifully gathered puff sleeves. Sandra will aslo demonstrate several other ways to finish a bishop sleeve edge. You will go home with a ready to smock bishop plus a detailed "Bishop Construction Guide" for reference on the many bishops you will be making after this one.

Sessions: Friday, March 1st and Saturday, March 2nd

Time: 10am - 2pm

Cost: $110/person (must be paid in advance) + fabric

This is an on-going class at Lola Pink. If you can't make these sessions, check the calendar as there will be others.

CLASSES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. If you cannot make the class that you signed up for, you MUST give at least 48 hours notice. While this hasn't been an issue yet, if it does become an issue we will have to start charging a cancellation fee on top of the class fee. Please be respectful to the teacher and the other students enrolled.
