Who needs to bust some scraps this summer? Use up some things just lurking about?  How about joining this quilt along?  Daisy Janie is hosting it.  (We love Jan’s work!  Tilly is one of my favorites this spring!)

The Lancaster Diamond Quiltalong is on!

It has been fun to see the many pictures from quilt market this spring in Kansas City.  We weren’t able to go, but we still need to make room for tons of new fabric coming our way!  SO we’re having a HUGE Spring Market Sale! It includes ALL fabric & precuts!!! (Which is pretty crazy since we just got some of this stuff in!)  Shop today!

Unless you’re without sight (I’m guessing you’re not since you’re reading the blog  😀 ) then you have noticed zig zags everywhere….and I mean everywhere!  Many people are calling the prints Chevrons – which from what I can tell a zig zag is a chevron print lined up over and over.  If it’s off-set then it’s a chevron print.  Anyway, I’m not too fussy about getting all the terminology right….the point I’m making is that they are popular!

How about this adorable skirt over on Moda Bake Shop?  With Vintage Modern, please and thank you!  (Or should we make that bold Pezzy Prints instead?)

How about the fun Ziggy Baby pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew?  Love the color blocking!

Need a super cute cover for your sewing machine? Or some delightful pincushions?  Thimble Blossoms has you covered!  (Yeah, the pun was intentional. :-)  )

And I love how Heather quilted her recent zig-zag quilt!  You can really see the pattern on the back!

Zigs, Zags, Chevrons!  We love them all! (OH! and we have Thangles too – making Half Square Triangles a piece of cake!)

(And don’t forget to add photos of your zig zag (or other Lola Pink creations) to our flickr group!)

There are so many exciting things going on in the Lola Pink store!

Like Bernina‘s. WOO HOO!  And to-die for fabric (obviously 😉 ) and Classes too!!!!  (You can find our class calendar right here on the blog.)

If you’re in the neighborhood ( Lafayette, Louisiana) we would love to have you stop by, of course!  (In fact, we’ll be sad if you don’t.)  And no matter where you are, we always love to see you online. 😀

Did you know that we have a flickr group?  It’s true!

We want to see all of your marvelous Lola Pink Projects!  And honestly, we’re kinda lonely over there.  So go, join the group and start uploading your photos!  And be sure to tag us on twitter and instagram too! (@lolapinkfabrics or @lolapink_jen ) We want to see what you’re making! (We love to see you on Facebook also even if they don’t allow you to tag our page in your photos!)

Making a cathedral window mini-quilt is on my list of things I must sew.  I even know the fabric I want to use. :-)  But holy guacamole, it looks like sooooo much work!  Maybe that’s why this adorable pincushion caught my eye!

This free Cathedral Window Pincushion tutorial can be found over at Moda Bake Shop.  It’s like sewing and origami all in one! And since it’s such a cute little package and only one window, maybe it’s not so overwhelming?!?!

(And if you need a little bling for your pincushion – check out Etsy!  I love this Alice in Wonderland Eat Me Cupcake from Pinks & Needles! )

Anyway, the pincushion would be super fun with the Pezzy Prints charm pack! Or A Walk in the WoodsSummersville would be so fun because it could be like a little window peeking out onto a town!  And don’t forget Vintage Modern! That would be so so sweet.  We love Moda Bake Shop for inspiration! And their charm packs too!  (You can find all of our pre-cut fabrics here!)
