I’ve been having too much fun making up samples of the quilt along via photoshop. :-) As soon as I would finish one, I’d think of another option! It was TOO hard to limit it! Now I want to make ALL of them!
(Kits available here!)
SO I started out with the charm packs that I either have in stock (yes, I have some Pips and Just Wing It hiding you didn’t know about. And yes, I really do have Christmas fabrics here now). I’ve also included samples of a few options that I will have in stock in the next couple days…..here are some combos!
This is the fabric that Chris will be using! It’s such a cheery spring quilt! Then I thought of my friend that doesn’t like pink….and so I changed the sashing to a lighter yellow and border fabric….and still used a Hullabaloo charm pack.
I LOVE the Just Wing It quilt that I made – and the colors from Sandi’s Limeade Chain Flower are just perfect with it! So I added that as the border.
I am SERIOUSLY thinking about making my quilt with Christmas fabric. Do you know what a relief it would be to know that I have ONE gift done. In April! Awesome! This is the new Countdown to Christmas fabric from Sweetwater. The sashing is a new bella color – 175 and the border is snow – bella 11
And I have one lone charm pack left of All Star 2 so I decide to make it available here. :-) I paired it with the mini dot for sashing and the brown cheery dot for the border.
Since Happier will arrive any day now, I had to include it! And it really does make me happy just looking at it!
Oh Boy! And THEN I got crazy! I was thinking, you don’t HAVE to use charms. You can absolutely cut your own 5 inch squares….so I made up a sample with a fat quarter set of Sugar & Spice….and then a solid sample. And this is like just the tip of the iceburg. There are SO SO many more options you could do!
IF you blog about your fabric selections, will you let me know so I can go take a look? Oh, and maybe add them to the flickr group! I’ve added the pictures of the kits I have it stock and ready to go.
If you buy a kit, it will included everything you need for the quilt top and the binding. You STILL need fabric for the back (1.5 yards will give you a bit of extra room,) and batting. (plus thread!)
Are you getting excited! I am!!! AND next I’ll tell you about the prizes you could win for joining in the fun!
