I’ve been having too much fun making up samples of the quilt along via photoshop. :-)  As soon as I would finish one, I’d think of another option! It was TOO hard to limit it! Now I want to make ALL of them! 😀

(Kits available here!)

(Find more info about the Quilt Along here)

SO I started out with the charm packs that I either have in stock (yes, I have some Pips and Just Wing It hiding you didn’t know about.  And yes, I really do have Christmas fabrics here now).  I’ve also included samples of a few options that I  will have in stock in the next couple days… are some combos!

Hullabaloo - Pink & Yellow

Hullabaloo - Pink & Yellow

This is the fabric that Chris will be using! It’s such a cheery spring quilt! Then I thought of my friend that doesn’t like pink….and so I changed the sashing to a lighter yellow and border fabric….and still used a Hullabaloo charm pack.

Hullabaloo - Pale

The sashing  is bella number 31 with the border as Lady Dot from the Party Dress collection. I love this one too!

Just Wing It with Sandi's fabric

I LOVE the Just Wing It quilt that I made – and the colors from Sandi’s Limeade Chain Flower are just perfect with it!  So I added that as the border.

And seriously how could I not made up a sample with Pips?  Isn’t it great!  The solids are bella number 171 (yay! dark gray!) and the blue is 49.

Countdown- (Yes, Christmas!)

I am SERIOUSLY thinking about making my quilt with Christmas fabric.  Do you know what a relief it would be to know that I have ONE gift done.  In April! Awesome! This is the new Countdown to Christmas fabric from Sweetwater. The sashing is a new bella color – 175 and the border is snow – bella 11

Flurry by Kate Spain

Naturally I had to do one with Kate Spain’s Flurry fabric! The solids are 101 and 135.

All Star 2 - for the boys of course!

And I have one lone charm pack left of All Star 2 so I decide to make it available here. :-)  I paired it with the mini dot for sashing and the brown cheery dot for the border.

Happier will be here any day now!

Since Happier will arrive any day now, I had to include it!  And it really does make me happy just looking at it!

With Fat Quarters from Sugar & Spice

Oh Boy! And THEN I got crazy!  I was thinking, you don’t HAVE to use charms.  You can absolutely cut your own 5 inch squares….so I made up a sample with a fat quarter set of Sugar & Spice….and then a solid sample.  And this is like just the tip of the iceburg.  There are SO SO many more options you could do!

With Solids from Moda

IF you blog about your fabric selections, will you let me know so I can go take a look?  Oh, and maybe add them to the flickr group! I’ve added the pictures of the kits I have it stock and ready to go. :-)

If you buy a kit, it will included everything you need for the quilt top and the binding.  You STILL need fabric for the back  (1.5 yards will give you a bit of extra room,) and batting. (plus thread!)

Are you getting excited! I am!!!  AND next I’ll tell you about the prizes you could win for joining in the fun!

  1. LOVE the combos! Now I just have to decide…do you have the sugar and spice combo listed?

    Melanie Reply:

The kits listed are only the ones that use charm packs. The sugar and spice link will take you to that section. Then you’d need to buy a fat quarter set and yardage to go with it for the quilt. :-)

  2. Neat to see all of the different fabrics used on the same pattern!

  3. Do you have the pattern for Got A Feeling Quilt? Does it come as a kit?
