This is an easy to sew, super large tote. Make it with laminate and you won't need a lining. The instructions are written for construction with either laminate or cotton fabrics.

A fat quarter friendly project and a great beginner class!

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Fabric
1/2 yd Fabric 1 - Top wide band (2 fat quarters)
1/4 yd Fabric 2 - Middle band (1 fat quarter)
1/4 yd Fabric 3 - Bottom and lower band (1 fat quarter)
1/4 yd Fabric 4 - 2 small accent bands (1 fat quarter)
1/4 yd Fabric 5 - Inside zipper pocket (1 fat quarter)

Optional Lining & Interfacing (not needed when using laminate)
1/2 yd - Lining fabric
3/4 yd Pellon #987 fusible fleece
3/4 yd Pellon #809 Decorbond
3 yds - 1/2" bias tape - extra wide double fold

Notions
2 yds - 1" wide webbing for strap
7" long all purpose polyester zipper (Note: pattern not suitable for metal zippers)
1 - Large 1 3/8" button for front pocket
4 1/2" x  14 1/2" foam board / cardboard for bag bottom
