Beginning Quilting



Have you always wanted to learn to quilt but are intimidated by the cutting and piecing? This is a great class to get you introduced to quilting.  Everything you need to get started in quilting. No prior quilting experience required. You just need to know how to sew a straight line.

In this 3 session class, you will learn to make this super cute quilt top. The pattern is included in the price of the class.

A supply list will be emailed to you prior to class date.

What to Bring:

Sewing machine in good working condition (need to have basic sewing skills)
Sewing machine needles and bobbin
Quality cotton fabric 
Sewing thread
Fabric scissors
Sewing pins and pin cushion
Marking pen
Seam ripper
Rotary Cutter and
Quilt Ruler (minimum size 6" x 12")
1/4" foot for your machine if you have it.  (I highly recommend it, it will make getting a consistent quarter inch much easier)

If you have any questions about what you need for class, feel free to call the shop and ask.  We will be happy to help you pick out supplies.  There will be a 10% discount on any supplies or fabric you buy for the class.  Make sure you have all of your fabric picked out before class.  I am here Monday - Thursday most days if you would like me to help you choose your fabrics.

1 1/2 yards white or neutral fabric
3 1/4 yards Backing Fabric
1/2 yard binding fabric
